Welcome to Badgerswood & Forest Surgery

The practice operates out of two sites, the Forest Surgery in Bordon and the Badgerswood Surgery in Headley and also provides medical care for the surrounding villages.

Although patients receive the majority of their care from one site, patients may occasionally be asked to visit the other site for emergency appointments or specialized care.

With patients' needs at the heart of everything we do, our website has been designed to make it easy for you to gain instant access to the information you need. As well as specific practice details such as opening hours and how to register, you’ll find a wealth of useful pages covering a wide range of health issues along with links to other relevant medical organisations.

Urgent on-the-day Appointments

Due to the ever-increasing demand for Appointments, here at Badgerswood and Forest Surgery we have implemented a triage system for urgent on-the-day appointments. This triage system allows us to ensure urgent appointments go to those who have the greatest clinical need, not want.

This now means that you should not phone at 0800 am to get a same day appointment – instead you need to follow our triage system. Our reception team will not be able to book you in for an on-the-day appointment without following the triage system

The triage system we use is eConsult. Once our clinically led triage team receive an eConsult they will assess it and arrange that those with the greatest clinical need are prioritised. It is therefore important that all patients ensure the information they provide on the eConsult form is as accurate and detailed as possible.

Click the blue box below to complete an eConsult - The service is open from 8.00am Monday - Friday.

eConsult closing time is midday. However when demand is very high the surgery may have to close eConsult earlier to ensure triaging can be completed and each eConsult reviewed that same day.

Outside of these hours, or for routine appointments please call the surgery.

           consult online

Please Call the Surgery if you are having any difficulties completing the online form.

As a member of the South-East Primary Care Network (PCN), we have been provided with the services of 2 paramedics to assist with on-the-day appointments. This is in addition to our current staff and does not replace anyone.  The paramedics will make up part of our on-the-day team. We hope this additional resource will provide an increase in the number of available appointments.

For routine appointments, you will still be able to book these over the phone, as before. Please call and follow the directions for routine appointments.

MMR Vaccines

Measles can infect around 9 out of 10 non-immune (those who are unvaccinated or have not previously been infected with the measles virus) people exposed to it and can lead to serious complications. The MMR vaccine is the safest and most effective way for parents and guardians to protect their children against measles, mumps and rubella.

Parents or guardians of children who are not up to date with their two doses of MMR vaccine should contact the practice to book an appointment. It’s never too late to catch up.
